Ramin studied Translation and Economics at the University of Bonn and worked for several years after graduation as a certified translator and interpreter in Germany.
He is an Associate Member of the Society of Translators and Interpreters of British Columbia (STIBC), which is an Affiliated Member of the Canadian Translators, Terminologists and Interpreters Council (CTTIC).
Ramin is also an approved ICBC translator in good standing.
His Diploma in Immigration Consulting from Ashton College in Vancouver, along with his membership with the CICC, enables him to also assist clients as a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC).

Rates:  All rates are per page, with a maximum count of 250 words. Driver's licenses, ID cards, birth certificate booklets, and passports with a maximum of 10 stamps are considered one page. 

Additional words on the same page:  $0.30 each. 

Payment link: We will email you an online invoice via PayPal within 24 hours. Please check your email and also your spam folder to make sure you have it. 

Standard Rate:  2-5 business days after payment, based on volume and availability. 

Urgent Rate:  We understand how important your deadlines are. To assist you, we are willing to put all our work on pause and reschedule our meetings to complete your translation first, even outside our standard business hours. A $100 surcharge per order is required for urgent translations delivered within 24 hours of availability. Please be mindful that urgent translations cost more than standard orders.

Notarization:  If you require a notarized affidavit in addition to your certified translation, please select the notarization option on the order form. The cost of a single notarization is around $40 for each document witnessed and signed by a notary public.

Passport Color Copies:  $10 per passport

Canada Post Standard Mail:  $5 per letter ( 3-7 business days)

Canada Post Express Registered Mail:  $25-$30  per package (2-3 business days with tracking number) 

Large-volume Legal Translations: Complete the order form to receive a customized rate based on your document's word count.

Cancellation Policy: Please note that your order is binding and must be paid in advance. Ensure you agree with our rates before placing your order. Unpaid orders cannot be processed and will be cancelled after 7 days.

Hard Copies:  Please pick up  your certified translations from our office as soon as possible. You will have  90 days to do so.  After that deadline, we will safely shred all your translations to protect your confidential information!

How do I place my order?

Option 1: online

You can place your order online 24/7 from the comfort of your home or office. We will email you an online invoice via PayPal after we have reviewed your scans. Please provide us with clear and complete scans of your documents to start the process. When you come to pick up your translations, please show us your original documents.

Option 2: in person

Please complete and send the  order online form before dropping off your documents at our reception. We cannot proceed with your order without the required information in the form.

How can I pay for my certified translation?

We will email you a PayPal invoice within 24 hours, which gives you the option to pay by credit card, Visa debit, or PayPal. You don't need to have a PayPal account.  The invoice is generated by PayPal. We also accept e-transfers. Please note that all orders must be paid in advance. Please check your email and your spam to make sure you pay your invoice on time. 

New ICBC Process for Translating Foreign Driver’s Licenses: A Step-by-Step Guide starting from 06/12/2024

If you're looking to have your foreign driver's license translated for ICBC, the process has been updated to include video verification. Here's an easy-to-follow guide to help you understand the steps:

1. Document Submission

  • Scan and email a clear and complete digital copy of your original driver’s license to us.

  • Send the document in PDF or high-quality JPG format to ensure it is legible and meets ICBC’s requirements.

2. Translation and Video Verification

  • We will complete the translation of your document.

  • After finishing your translation, we will arrange a video call with you using FaceTime, Zoom, WhatsApp, or another video app.

  • During the call, we will verify the authenticity of your original driver’s license. Compare the physical document with the scanned copy. Confirm you have the original document to ensure its validity.

3. Translation Delivery

  • Once verified, we will deliver the completed translation to you by email.

  • While ICBC prefers the original completed MV2943 form to be mailed to you, an emailed copy of the translation is also acceptable.

4. Your Next Steps

  • Print the emailed translation and the electronic copy of your driver’s license.

  • Bring the following to the ICBC Driver Licensing office: The printed translation. The printed electronic copy of your original document. Your original driver’s license for verification by ICBC staff.

  • Note: ICBC does not accept translations displayed on a mobile phone.
